ABOUT THE WITHERS

The Withers is a new project focusing on high elevation, cool climate sites that yield exceptional, nuanced and balanced reds and rose wines drawing from Rhone varietals grown in the Sierra Foothills and Mendocino County, as well as Pinot Noir grown in the Anderson and Green Valleys and the Sonoma coast. The Withers was founded by Andrew Tow, a long time collector and advocate of food friendly, understated, lower alcohol yet deeply flavorful wines, and features as its winemaker, David Low, co-founder and winemaker at the highly acclaimed Anthill Farms Winery.

This is a truly unique opportunity for anyone who appreciates wine and gastronomy. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail - from the freshest local ingredients to the carefully selected wines that accentuate the flavors of each dish. And when you add to that a narration from the winemaker, the dinner becomes an interesting and informative event. If you are still in doubt about whether to go to such events, I recommend checking out the nursing papers online website for more information and help to prepare for such important events!

This wine dinner sounds amazing! A great opportunity for wine lovers to try unique varieties paired with delicious food. Especially appealing is the opportunity to listen to the winemaker himself talk about the process of creating his wines. The menu looks simply gorgeous, from tender duck to interesting flavor combinations such as pear with white truffle. This is a true gourmet feast of flavor!
